Fall colors, grey wolf

Hello,

Tried to get some fall colors shots this last weekend in Minnesota.

I set up a nice one while standing in a river - but just had one shot left on my CF card. Waited for the right light on the trees and then just when I pressed the shutter this creature jumped in front of my frame and ruined everything.

Oh well, gotta make the best of things I guess.... :wink

    That's what my wife said too. :cry

    But she saw the RAW file and acquiesced that it was real - but she still maintains that she doesn't believe it.

    Wow, that is incredible! It would be great just to see that, let alone take an excellent shot. Glad you weren't setup in manual mode to blur the water!!

    This is unbelievable! eek7.gif One of the finest captures I've ever seen, period. bowdown.gif It's almost too good to be true. (It is true, isn't it?)

    So you were very close, maybe 30 or 40' from him? Are the wolves in MN always this fearless? Man, I gotta start spending more time in MN.
