A few drag racing pics

thought i may as well post up some pics i took of some local drag racing in august. shooting from the stands sucks, but i did the best i could, i think...
i did learn a few things though, first off, red is now my least favorite color, my camera kept blowing out the reds too easily, or else it was just me(ya, it's probably me... :uhoh). second, i learned i need to not rely on any "sure things"(ie. me gettings trackside access), and actually double check that things are going to happen. oh well, next year i hope i can get track access and try and sell some of my pics. comments and critiques are welcome :D

    Love the next to last one of the motorcycle. Is it safe to assume that the motion blur is real and not photoshopped? You did an amazing job at keeping the detail on the moving subjects!

    thanx, that's one of my favs actually, and yes, it's real, that one was taken at 1/60sec, same as the 1st pic. i would've went slower but i didn't really wanna be shooting at F22, damn daylight anyways... rolleyes1.gif

    yeah you did really good with the panning. excellent photos. love the paint on those cars. all show and all go!
