    You're right-- it does look like an airplane that is ready to take off. I have a similar one that I think looks like it is ready to take off; I used to have a caption under it that said "Ready for takeoff!" Here is a link if you're interested:

    I like to see the more unusual poses like you captured. Mostly we try to show the classic poses - I think - and disregard some really interesting photos in the process.
