My son plays little league football. So my wife told me that she need some pictures. So I thought I would grab the camera and head to the field and snap some pictures. It's not as easy as some people make it look.

Please feel free to let me know what I am doing wrong.

Very nicely done for a 1st try. Assuming the ballcarrier is your son too that is. Great job!

Great shot!! I wish my first try was this nice. Good exposure, good color, nice bokeh, action captured well. Looks a little soft to me, but maybe the original is nice and sharp. Keep it up!!

No it not my son in the picture. My son plays on the B team, he is not ready to play with the A team. 1st year playing football.

I am still shooting Jpeg mode with my camera. I have only begun understanding how the camera works. After reading this board and others, I took the camera off of auto mode. And I still have not learned how to use Photoshop yet. The only program that I use is Zoom Browser. I have Photoshop elements 2.0, but have not learned to use it properly. I have downloaded a demo copy of Noise Ninja.

The picture might be soft due to the lens that I was using. I was using my sigma 70-200 2.8 with the 2x converter.
