Those are ready for the catalog thumb.gif Just an FYI most of the watch companies pics have the time at 10:10 or there abouts. Something with the the way it looks. Take a look at the watch sites and take a look :D Great lighting and DOF really works great. How did you balance the watch?

Thanks. No light tent or L lens. Shot handheld with the 50/1.4 - f/4, 1/100, ISO 400. Lighting was from a 50W halogen desk lamp. Frontal diffusion from an amvona (Photoflex knockoff) 22" translucent litedisc, background and rear reflector fill were printer paper.

Thank you. I knew about the 10:10, but was lazy. The shots I took at 10:10 didn't turn out well, and I didn't want to turn back the time. ne_nau.gif The watch is balancing itself, actually. I got it into the right position and it stayed.

Wow and you haven't even got any light reflection of the face of the watch ....geezz thats pretty darn cool!!
I like both, the colour version is a little more appealing especially for the band on the watch, but I like the Sepia one as well thumb.gif Skippy (Australia)
