    While to my opinion, color pictures are way too "old-fashioned" ones, I do think the black & white image is just great thumb.gif
    have a quick look at my portfolio (there's a photolog, too) :: (11-07-2006) experiencing a new flash portfolio. What do you think?

    Seems I take better b&w images based on this and a previous thread of images from this shoot.

    Antoine- can you explain "way too old fashioned"? Do you mean similar poses to other portrait photography? I would like to understand your point of view.

    All the shots were candid- she wouldn't pose for me, her mom, or her grandma. She refuses to get her pictures taken at any studio which is why we shot in a park. Any shots that seem posed are simply a matter of catching her in the moment.

    Sure, let's say it's all about the color and especially the little blur on the last one: to me (it's a matter of taste, I guess), it looks way too much like typically 90's american stock photography.

    In fact, I do think there are much more feelings in the black & white picture thumb.gif while others are much more flat. Well taken, but flat. I'm pretty sure others may not agree, but that's my very own opinion ;)
