My roommates wanted me to take some promo pics for their band. It was a bit of a rush job, but here are some of the better ones we came up with for the time being...

    Hi

I really like #2. I always try to guess who the lead singer is by the shot & body language alone...and I'm going to guess the guy in the khaki sweater. 2nd guess is the curly haired bloke in the brown plaid....

    Hi, SpeshulEd
    Nice photos!
I like the first one for a cover photo.
Have one or two of them sit in a chair and have the other ones
standing behind them. Trying to think of a good pose they might
want to try for the next photo shoot.
Try to get them to dress a bit different next time Laughing.gif.
All the strippes on the shirts and the one solid kinda look crazy.
But, I guess maybe that is how they like to dress.
What kind of music do they play?
Where they going for the natural relaxed look?

I like the backdrop on the first, the body posture/posing on the second, and agree with having at least 2 of them wear solids. A little more constrast in the lighting would be good too. Nice job!thumb.gif

Thanks for the advice. I had mentioned something to them about it as well, but it literally was a rush job. They had all arrived at the house and instead of practicing right away, they asked if they could go shoot some photos.

Then they decided to eat first. By that time the sun was going down. So it turned into - lets just walk around and snap some pictures.

We'll definitely be doing a reshoot.

You can check out a couple of their tunes on their myspace page...

I don't really know how to describe them, kind of pop-rock, alternative, indie. I dunno, its catchy as hell though.
