No, he wasn't there but Crumpler had a bunch of Ozzie kids wearin t-shirts, handing out oriental fans. I got a fan.

The Sigma SD14 has some sort of anti-dust, UV stopping filter between the lens and the mirror:

This was very interesting. Sure is a lot easier to clean this one piece of glass than it is the sensor. Would like to see real results with this camera.

THIS was a very cool device. I could see using it. Seems *very* high priced though.

seriously though, any thoughts on the Oly? I'm on a new miniaturization kick. Got the D70 kit as small as possible, but still kinda clunky. I know Phil says they won't even import this one to the US.

Nothing jumped at me, sorry. It's probably a fine cam though if you want a small spare, second camera etc.

    Hey there Andy
When your at the PMA can you ask someone from Canon what happened to the Canon M80 portable storage unit they announced at Photokina ???

It looked like a real nice little unit that ran on Canon camera batteries so you could use the same ones that you used in your Digital Cam.

.........but nothing ever happened with it, I thought it would have come out when EPSON released the P5000 ???

Wonder if they just scrapped it ??? .....

Yes, I will look for this unit, no problem!

I wondered if the release of VISTA put a bit of a delay in the device ??? headscratch.gif
.... I'm keen to know why it hasn't been released.

Thank you Mr Williams :D .... Skippy
