I'm really loving this site and am sure appreciating the great quality of photos featured.
I wanted to post a few critter pics from our Uganda trip. These are modest in comparison (we have a typically set to auto canon digital) but the subjects presented themselves nicely (not their fault we're just simple country folk lol )

Here are a few more - my experience with working with effects is pretty limited so aside from touch up on color I'm not sure what else to do.
What a trip that must have been...... one of these days I would love to do a Safari.
The spider you posted, I'm guessing its not small right ??? it's got a decent sized body on it, is it an ORB ?
Your Gator shot..... looks nasty inside that mouth hu :uhoh what a big ole boy he seems to be.

How many photographers does it take to change a light bulb? 50. One to change the bulb, and forty-nine to say, "I could have done that better!"
I really appreciate all your comments.
Am still not sure what kind of spiders they were - they were really big and full of scaryness.
That particular croc was pretty massive. I still get a little grossed out when I look in his mouth.
We were able to spend 1 day on the safari (was in Uganda for 2.5 weeks working at an orphanage) so the time went really quick but we were fortunate in seeing a variety of animals. It really is a beautiful place.
Thank you again. Lovin this forum and website.
The spider is great. What a lovely color.
