Some Redheads came over for dinner!

My favorite Redheads (Acorn Woodpeckers) come by about 3 times a day to roust out the Sparrows and share a meal. Very cute, hard to capture. My patio is in front of the living room window so I removed the screen, opened the glass and set up the tripod in the back corner of the room to minimise my presence. Does this qualify me for the couch potato award?
Hope to get a better tripod next week, this one is a bit shaky. C&C's always welcome. natch.

Love the 1st image. I have not had very good success with my bird images. So, I really enjoy viewing others.

Thanks for the feedback, only had the 70-300 a short while and am still having fun trying to take shots like others have been doing. What a diff a new perspective can make. Or is it just having a new toy? :photo

How many photographers does it take to change a light bulb? 50. One to change the bulb, and forty-nine to say, "I could have done that better!"
