I just got a pro account... my friend has had one for a while and i went to add him as my friend but he has completely customized his page and the friends family link can no longer be seen on his page. can i still add him as a friend?:dunno

This is actually a very good question. The friends and family box is technically still there, but (s)he has hidden it.

What you can do is, use firefox and the webdev extension (see my signature) to temporarily remove the code, and click click on the friend link.
