Very expressive shots, Peter. The last one is my favorite. Must have been an interesting story... good luck to him.

You know, Peter, I was just yesterday thinking of some of the people that frequented STF and you were one of them!

So nice to see you're still at it.....entertaining us all.

    Cheers!

Man, I really love the feel of these. They're both warm and desparate and convey immense character. He'd certainly make a great B&W study. I can totally see him in depression era clothing. Coal miner, moonshiner, butcher, truckdriver, average Joe.

Awesome work. I really love these.

I'm fascinated by the natural color palette of these, they're nearly monochromatic. Like an oil painting, or a scene out of a Jeunet & Caro movie. They look great!

I'm just curious how you got that lighting? It doesn;t look like a flash shot, was that really what the antural light there looked like?

    Very impressive!! clap.gifclap.gif

I took these pics with the Sony R1 and the HVL-f32x flash bounced
against the (very low) ceiling .

Thank you for your kind words.
Here is another pic from that evening.

I enjoyed your report on photokina.
    As you see I'm still shooting with a Sony ( R1 ).

Next sunday we'll be having the opening of a group exhibition
    with 41 photographers.

And of course you can visit my website : http://www.peterdumont.nl
