    Interesting light in the first, was it just as the sun was setting? That Osprey is really amazing. Great sky, lighting, and wing position.

    Yes the sun was setting in the first shot. The egret was mostly in the shade so the light was soft.

    Lovely pair of shots. Ths soft warm sunlight to shadow transition on the egret is perfectly captured.

    Thanks Mushy! As a general rule I for darkish bifs I add +1 exposure compensation. Since Ospreys have alot of white on them I usually take a test shot to see how thing are. :D
