Reflections appeared to be a interesting theme, lots and lots of great entries.
Now let's turn our lenses to something less shiny: shadows.
The goal is to photograph a shadow - primarily.
If something else goes into frame - it's OK (unless you want to clone/crop it out), but the shadow should be the hero of your picture.
As always: fresh pictures only, no massive PS compositing, etc.
For the rest of the basic rules and index please check out this sticky.
Let's get some shadows!

No, that was 'The Kid', one of my partner's in crime who accompanied me on a cross country run through Colorado and New Mexico that I hope to get posted next week. The images from that ride can be seen here

Great entries, especially the #1! Very clear, very nice photograph!
What is that rough terrain on the first one? Bush?
Those are stalks of corn.....we actually brushed the very tops of them with the bottom of the basket then gassed er up and floated high above again. Corn looks so different from the air! Thanks for the nice words.

Thanks for the entry!
For the future - it'll be easier for everybody to appreciate your submission if you post the image, not the link.
Please see the FAQ how to do this.
And once you do, you can modify your original entry:-)
My little girl seems to have snuck in to the family "Shadow" Pic.
Welcome to the class, and thanks for the few extra shadows!
