I have to confess that I find it a little dull. The sky is either overcast or blown out, and I don't find the composition as interesting as I would like. In addition to reshooting on a day when the sky is more interesting, I would recommend rethinking the angle from which you shot this. I personally would step closer and include less of the stuff that isn't part of the corner (the sky and the beach). But you might a more interesting shot from a wider angle, too.

I like the shot, maybe try toning the colors.

It could be a great shot. Try reshooting at dusk to help out w/ color. The beach in the background is pretty distracting. Easy enough to clone out though. Can you get more water in the shot to the left or is there something stopping that? The shot would be more evenly weighted if there was more water on the left. JMO

I like the color in the house, but like others said, the background is a little dull.

Also, I'm pretty sure you can only enter pictures taken between 10/3 and 10/16.
