Very good lesson for an ad ;)

I never looked too much on flickr but now you say it like that... guess it may be a good idea to open an account. :D
have a quick look at my portfolio (there's a photolog, too) :: (11-07-2006) experiencing a new flash portfolio. What do you think?

It's called rights grabbing. They gave the photogs the cameras and then the photogs had to give them their images royalty free. I don't know the extent of the contract they had to sign but it costs Nikon a lot less to give away a couple cameras than to pay photographers for a national ad campain like that.
The site Nikon made is really annoying to navigate also. Would I do it? Probably :D.

Most of the people that are posting on Flickr are not pros (as in making a large portion of income from photography) Besides, how is that different than placing your images in a micro-stock site... how many downloads would one have to have before they could afford to buy Nikon D80? And those images are royalty free as well. deal.gif I say way to go Nikon clap.gif and come on over to smugmug thumb.gif We need more Nikon shooters rolleyes1.gif Andy will soon come over to the dark side bwahahaha :ivar
