Secret of opened eyes
is ... in a field of psychology... I call it 'fancy calling'.
As you know I always talk while takin portraits....
While talking I so to say, state the value of my model and... try to turn our conversation (I speak 99%) into the channel I need. On this last photo I asked her to remember her last kiss and took a shot :-)
You must be ready to take a shot BEFORE the key words...

If nothing helps, I (photo 3) ask to close model's eyes and stay in this position until I count to 3 and then open eyes widely ! :-)
Sometimes this works.

In most severe cases I'd say (right before takin shot) that I have 1000$ for every photo I make in Russia - then model's eyes will be opened enough :-)

The first shot is the most appealing, followed by the 4th shot. Lovely eyes.

The third shot seems like something is off. Her skin is almost corpse llike on my monitor.
