Is this any good?
This was almost a mile away as the crow flies shooting from my Dad's hill to this one.
Sun was late afternoon and shinning on the hill from over my shoulder.
It was a bright clouldless day.

I bumped the color with the Velva Action.

Love the shot and the fall colors.
I think I would have cropped it a little differently.
I would have moved the barm morv to the upper right of the frame.
It's just starting here (fall colors).

    like the shot-

is there a chance you've oversharpened it?-

like fred, colors not here for a little longer (east tennessee)-

hope to hit the smokies then-

It is possible....I was playing with the saturation and such.

the shadows in the trees above the barn don't look as dark as they should be...looks a little washed out.

I do like the photo though, I need to get up north and check out the color, its hard to get any shots living in the city.
bored? check out my photo site...and if you have the time, leave a comment or rate some pictures while you're there.

    jim-

hope you don't mind-will take it down if you do-

    played around with it some-

probably a little harsh because we're losing some in the translation-

used a blur/soft light blending mode layer to bring up the colors even more-

I do have a tendency to go too far on colors-

I like the shot Jim and I like what you did with the colors George. I miss the fall colors. We don't get much in Coastal North Carolina.
