Here's a few ideas. What da'ya reckon?

All shot in black & white. Still learning its about the new cam & ddn't realise I could adjust the contrast etc in cam so have done minor adjustments in ps.

Sheltered Corner
In my local park again. There's a little shelter that's quite secluded. You can see people but not many people come that way so its relaxing.

Cafe Corner
There's a little cafe which provides refreshment - ice creams are very popular :wink

Quite Corner
There's also a little church which is reportedly haunted. I must admit when I go deeper into the graveyard. I can definitely feel "SOMETHING", but not sure what.

The second photo is very striking; I like it a lot. I might crop out the window seal in the top, though. It's geometically interesting and has excellent contrast. Great composition.

The first picture definitely says corner, but I don't think the image holds attention very well because it doesn't seem unusual and doesn't require very much interpretation.

The third picture is a nice image because the gravestones are so near the tree, but I really don't think there's anny sense of corner in it.

The second photo is definitely the best. I agree with cropping out the window.

    I agree with Nick completely.
Shoot, or shoot not. There is no try.

    I like #2 as well.
It seems the whites are a bit washed out and the darks are underexposed.
Try using some kind of cloth to diffuse some of that light from the window, then bump up the exposure time.
Crop out the window like Nick said. And you have a good shot for the competition.
Just curious.. Do you shoot B&W or shoot color and convert?

The 2nd one did have a net curtain already up. I did 3 shots of that & this was one when the sun came out so maybe that's why its so contrasty. Will try & post the other 2.

I did try to crop the window seal out "in camera" but if I went any further down I lost the composition. If I went any further left there is an old radiator that adds nothing to the proceedings.

Will have to try again over the weekend & see if its still open.

I normally shoot in colour & convert to b&w. Just thought I'd try in b/w this time to see what I came up with.

For the 1st shot I was ging for an "art" pic

I vote this one, as it doesn't look so blown out. I agree about cropping out the window, however, I wonder if it'd add anything to the photo if the whole window, or a large portion of it was added to the composition.
