I was trying to get closer to this Hornet, or whatever kind of bee it is, but he's get flustered when I got too close. I tried zooming a bit. This little guy didn't really want to pose. I also had to keep an eye on the other bees in the bush as to not get myself stung..:giggle

On the Flower, I swear I had set the program shift in Macro to f2.8, but after when I was looking thru, it was @ an f4.0... oh, well, It still came out pretty good. I was focusing at the base of the pedals for this. I went out and re shot it in f2.8. I was also VERY close, I bumped it w/ my lense a couple times...:rofl

Some of these shots yesterday were giving me a hard time w/ focus, but I still had a good time..

Specs.. I was also shooting in ISO 80 all day. I didn't want any noise at all. I did a couple brackets in ISO 100.

BEE = f3.3 1/640 ISO 80
Flower= f4.6 1/640 ISO 80.

    This is the re-shot Flower f2.8 1/125 iso80, WB cloudy.

    I also trimmed the bee pic. Zoomed in a hair on the camera trimming mode.

    Thank you Awais for your kind remarks. I'm slowly progressing. So far, my photography has been mediocre at best...:giggle

    I checked your smugmug. You have some wonderful pictures! I spent 6 months at a location north of Kabul, so I was somewhat in your neck of the woods. The world is a wonderful place and definetly small!..thumb.gif
