Buying a camera - in Panama

I have made up my mind to get the canon rebel xti. now the problem is that i am in south america and camera prices are really high here. I cant make it to ciudad del este in Paraguay where the prices are cheapper. ok, enough of the background, has anyone purchased a camera in panama city, panama? I will be there soon and i heard that they have a real tax free zone and that prices for cameras are not to bad.

Dave, I lived in Panama for a year, and I was never able to find the good deals that everyone spoke of. I would suggest mail ordering from the states.
