i feel stupid

thank you all for the replys about the photo problem, but im still having problems it says the image file is too big what do i do now?

    Fleming, that's what I linked you to the other thread. It discusses how to shrink the photo. I'm guessing that you don't have Photoshop or something similar?

    Perhaps you should download a free program called Irfanview. It's free software that lets you do basic photo editing. It will let you change the size of your image, so that it fits dgrin's attachment limits, and smugmug's upload limits.

    Don't feel bad. Everything I was shooting last night looked horrible...overexposed and noisy. Until I realized that I still had the camera set for ISO1600 11doh.gif

    There are a bunch of applications that will resize images...some work much better than others. If you're working on a PC, Irfanview will work. If you're working on a mac, GraphicConverter will work (included with OSX).

    tjis as they said works well but when you resize do it a little at a time not all at once .you will find when you resize it has steps go one at a time ne_nau.gif
