    Thanks Guys.

There was still quite a few sandhills around, maybe a few hundred. The Harriers were everywhere. Had to be 5 or 6 of them flying in my general area.

The bittern scared the crap out me.
I was shooting the hawk shots, and this large bird flies about 5 feet over my head. This was the first time I had seen one, so I didn't even know what kind of bird it was.
Nobody told me taking bird pics was going to be dangerous. :D

    Thanks again for looking.

    Thanks again guys.

I'm hoping to get up there again this weekend.
I've heard reports that the sandhills are just moving in. It seems kind of late for that to happen, but I'll be in the area, so I'll check it out.

Here are a couple more from the last trip.

The morning clouds with some sandhills in the distance.

It was a breezy day, when the cranes came in for a landing, it looked like they were walking on air.

After a long day, it's time to fly off into the sunset.

    Thanks again everyone.
