Actually, this was taken with the slowwwww Bigma at it's widest aperture (50mm's). Because I was shooting into the setting Sun, I was able to get a relatively fast, seagull and wave freezing, speed (1/3200), despite using a narrow aperture (F11).

Unlike your expensive L glass, which always make me look fat (possibly because I am ;-), these cheap Sigmas produce a somewhat slimming effect
