Hy Skippy,
Different countries, different culture, different ... climate !
You do see many people in bycicles in Holland - yes do know that and in spite of the wheather - and in Barcelona where there are roads for riders with trafic lights.
In Portugal everybody drives his car. Bicycles at week end.
