Fountains abbey in North Yorkshire, over the last few weeks it has been open on an evening so a good opportunity to get something different, I used multi Raw conversion technique to get the desired affect, all editing info is on the site link below

Martin, that is a stunning black and white image. I've come back to it several times to view. Also visited your website and I discovered it is typical of your fine work. I am a convert (and struggling student) from wet darkroom b&w to digital b&w darkroom. I found some good information on your site and forum which I am anxious to give a try. Thanks for sharing both your work and your knowledge.

I do have an inquiry. The moon appears to be emerging from a cloud in upper right, but the "rays" seem to eminate normal to view. Are these from the flood lighting or is this artistic interpretation?

Thank you for your kind words, as regards the moon, it was actualy a full moon not behind the clouds but it was so bright it was distracting I added a small amount of cloud layer over it to reduce the intensity I suppose it could be called artistic interpretation, the rays are actualy there and not editedI think they are empathsized by the 30 sec exp.
