Hi Y'all,

Nothing beats shooting in the morning. I slip out of the house while Linda is still asleep and get down to the wetlands where I'm the only person around. I would probably do it if I didn't have a camera.

How many photographers does it take to change a light bulb? 50. One to change the bulb, and forty-nine to say, "I could have done that better!"

It's so great when someone who knows what they're doing posts a set. Very natural colors. Not hazy, not over processed, just alive looking.

    Well done.wings.gif

Great stuff as usual Harry. I wish I was down there right now. So is that your buddy that poses so nicely on the fence posts for you? Have you ever found a red shoulder nest in the area or seen juveniles?

    Great shots.

I'd frame number 1 if it weren't for those dern power lines in the background. I love the reflection in the water in number 2 and the hawk picture is incredible. I love the yellow and green colors.

Boy I have to get to Florida.

I realize you make it look easy, but Minnesota just doesn't have birds like that in the am this time of year (it was 22 deg F when I woke up this am)

Thank youi. I did a quick, down and dirty clone job on the first shot

I think I will do a more careful job and get a final version w/o those darn power lines.

Everybody should come to Florida. Its much easier getting shots when the birds let you get close and are willing to pose for you.

22 degreees :yikes I remember that. Didn't like it.
