Ridata 2GB CompactFlash Memory Card, 150X CF Card
Has any one used this card yet? I have seen it for $75.00. Been looking at the lexar pro 133x but saw this card today. I have a 20D that I would like to have a fast card for.

    Nope....
Nope .... but I was looking to add to my collection of lexar 80x 2 gb pros and wound up with a TRANSCEND 120x 8gb for 153.98 including shipping on sale and it has worked wonderfully so far....going to try to make it out to the RC boat club this sunday and try it out on some fast moving boat fun and see how it does in raw.....

Here is link to NEW EGG
this is ap age you might be interested in.... there is the same card as mine only in 2 gb for 43.99 and 4 gb for 87.99....for some reason the 80x is almost 10.00 higher than the 120x ......Straaaaaangeheadscratch.gif

Good luck...hope this has helpped some.

Sounds like a nice deal, but 3 customers on the newegg site say their Transcend cards have become corrupted and they've lost data.
Shoot, or shoot not. There is no try.

Aaron, I have been using the 4GB Ridata 150x in my 20D and HD80 for the last 3 months and have had no problems with storage or transfer. It is listed now at The Mem Store for $66.95 and the 2GB for $33.95.eek7.gif

    Aporia,

When I click on the link you supplied, it found "SD" cards. When I searched for Ridata Compact Flash, it found cards for close to the prices you quoted, but they are the 80x speed.

This still a retty good price however, so thanks for the link. Plus this place has other cool stuff and you can see a quick lineup at:

Thanks again for the link. thumb.gif

I have an 80x ridata 4gb card in my 20d and it works great. no problems whatsoever. it'll take 6 shots in burst mode and then takes a couple of seconds to be ready to take 6 more again.

its an excellent card for the price. I wouldn't be spending $75 on the 2gb card, cuz you can get the 4gb for that price.

In fact, I got mine in may and only paid $85 for it.
bored? check out my photo site...and if you have the time, leave a comment or rate some pictures while you're there.

    Ziggy,

Good catch. I had been looking at the Ridata 4GB 150x SD card earlier and posted the wrong link. You can find the Compact Flash version at Meritline for $74.95.

I use a 2GB 133x Transcend card I bought from Frys Electronics for less than $50. Nothing wrong with mine yet and its been through thousands of images. I shoot Jpeg most of the time so 2gigs works out for me, but 4gigs or 8gigs is great for RAW! Def give it a shot, its worth it.
