I took this shot a few months ago when The Eels played a free concert at a local arts festival. I'm a big fan of the band. I've been spending a little time working on some old pics and this one is starting to grow on me. Mr. E, the lead singer, is quite a character.

Very cool and effective composition. I dig it. You can feel the concert.

I like everything about this shot, the two sets of goggles, the scraggly beart, the army surplus jacket, the black background, but I especially like that way the subject is thrust into the frame. Really effective composition.
