Metering Modes

What is your personal preference? And Why?

Do you change modes for differnt types of events?

    Evaluative. Most of the time, this is what I use. If I need to, +/- EV to
    correct. Gives a better over-all exposure for most things.

    Yes, it depends on what I'm shooting.

    I frequently do theater/dance shoots & use center-weight for that. For landscapes, general, & snapshots then I use evaluative. For studio work, full-manual with a Sekonic light meter.

    This is why the options are available, each one has a use.
