This isn't eligible (it was taken around Thanksgiving), but I thought I 'd get input on it anyway. My husband was being my model while I was playing with new lights. He HATES pictures, but he said that he actually likes this one!
Huh...they show up on my screen. Although I had many problems getting the link to even work. I would copy the link from the sharing screen on Smugmug, but then there wouldn't be anything there. Does anyone know why or how to fix this problem???

Ummm, maybe try making sure that the "public" and "ext links" options are both set to "yes" in your smugmug settings for the gallery that you have the pics in.
Hi Laurie.. I love the one of the two under the tree made me laugh..
I really like the one of your husband too but I think I would have cropped his face tighter (he's very good looking) and focused more on his face.. not that I know what the heck I'm doing
I dont want this to sound to mean just givin some tips:D
They seem a bit over exposed. They have that flashed look. The one of your husband has some harsh shadows and the flashed look. Mayby dial down the power a bit and put a reflector opppsite the main for some fill. On your husbands shot if you seperated him from the background some you could blur it out so that you dont see the wrinkles and folds of your background. Sorry if I seem to tough just tryin to help ya out a bit. Have you been to Dpreview.com? The Lighting Technic forum is GREAT when it comes to portraits. But be warned if you ask for advice you can really get more than you thought sometimes lol
They are very cute pictures! It is so much fun to photography children!
