Edit: Subject line was supposed to say 2nd largest falls east of the mississippi

Niagra being the largest, Tahquanemon Falls of Michigan's Upper Penninsula is the next biggest falls east of Mississippi.

Very nice composition, light, and exposure time
Douglas --- Great shot, well arranged. Was the exposure time really 50 seconds? It looks like it, but that's a long exposure at f16. Were you using a neutral density filter, or was it very early, very late, or dense cloud cover, or....? It came out very well --- John

Thank you John, It was quite late and dark, and cloudy to boot, I was having major problems autofocusing, so the last time it managed to lock in focus i switched to manual and clicked off a few more pics with it left focused from last AF position. And yes it was 50 sec exposure, no filters used. I would of loved to have a super wide telephoto lens for this spot.
    Best regards,

    This is wonderful
I agree, you've nailed it with this one. Its easy to see why you would like a super wide telephoto. What a great place and capture. Hmm....time for a ride to the U.P?ne_nau.gif Too bad the weather is ugly. Nice shot Douglas

Ah, Tahquanemon - haven't been there in so long (I was a Michigan native). Nice perspective. I like it overall. It seems a bit on the cool side to me but I admit I have a warm bias.
