Excellent set Tim. clap.gif It takes skill to get zoo shots that don't look like they were taken at a zoo.

Thanks Everyone. We had a great time. We got there just as they opened(9am) and the crowd did not get there till we were heading out (2:30pm). I knew that most of the crowd was going to be later in the day due to the HallZOOween events starting at 4pm. So had plenty of room for tripod shots and did not have to try and shoot over heads and shoulders much.

Thanks for all the nice comments!

    Tim,
Hehe, I don't think that tiger is too happy with you! :D

Is that a howler monkey? He's funny looking what ever he is and I love that he "posed" for you, cute picture!

But, WOW check out that wolf checking YOU out! I think he wants to make you lunch. Awesome shot!

Thanks for posting them! Between you and Daniel posting zoo shots I REALLY want to go to the zoo. I haven't been since I got my new camera and I'd love to try it out. Thanks, both of you for the inspiration!

'tina, thanks for your kind words. We love going to the zoo. I like to try and get shots that you dont notice that your looking at a zoo shot. The ape is a gibbon, that shot was acually mid-swing. They were being SO LOUD! and swinging all over those bars. They drew a large crowd. The wolf shots were when we first got there on the morning and I think we were the first people that they had seen that day. So they were very active and curious to get a look at us.

Get that new camera out there and show me your zoo!
