juvie crested caracara
Had a nice morning shoot with my friend Harry B. We spent some time shooting a horribly backlight eagle, 2 night heron, and various other regulars at Viera. (Unfortunately for Harry; who had left ahead of me and missed this guy) I spotted this juv crested caracara who let me get amazingly close for numerous shots. Because he was perched on a woodpile I was unable to capture his "feet".

I was trying to reach you on your cell after I left to tell you about the caracara but I see you found him on your own.
Good shot.

How many photographers does it take to change a light bulb? 50. One to change the bulb, and forty-nine to say, "I could have done that better!"

Wonderful shots..I have a bunch more of him but your last is AWESOME!
