Nice shots Antonio, is there anyway you could move to the left it looks like you are positioning your self where they are catching the wave, let them come to you
Steve and Gary.
You are both right.
Thank you.
My son told me the same. I should have been more to the left.
I had the monopod but i'll move to the tripod because it's more confortable.
I'll shoot - instead of Speed Priority - in Manual after making the reading of the light with 3200 s of speed.
I'll see if it's conviniente and if it gives me latitude.
I mean: with 3.200s the aperture must vary between f 4 and f 8 or above.
I'll underexpose by 1/3 as I have done before.
I'll make some experimental shots trying to expose to the right

I spent some time taking shots of my daughter yesterday...all with the 70-200L f2.8 IS... I hope to get out and about a little more.
Canon 30D
17-40 f/4 L
24-70 f/2.8 L
50 f/1.4
70-300 /f4-5.6 IS
Looks like you got the exposure down pat Now all you have to do is get those darned surfers to "go left". So you can see their faces
