what time of day was this? I just ask because its looks gray, but in most of the photos, there's at least one blown out spot, even though it doesn't look too sunny. I'm guessing lighting was very tricky and uneven. great action, as usual.

It was midday to about 5.00pm i was upto iso 800 at times, i overexposed a touch with the 1D to cut down on noise

I really like #3. You've got a good clean background and there's just enough motion/action to keep the viewer interested. Simple but very nice!
I knew something was off this week because I hadn't seen your coverage of a different sport...something I'm not only accustomed to but actually beginning to expect
