Sparrow, it's what's for breakfast
Spotted this little guy enthusiastically shredding a small bird on my deck. It was fun to watch him. I've never been so close (6-10 feet) to a hawk and its catch before.
Turns out, he's a Sharp-shinned hawk. They like to pick off little birds at bird feeders.
I shot these through the mini-blind, trying not to spook him. But I think he knew I was there anyway, he just didn't care.
Raptors are cool.:D
