ATV Training
Recently I purchased a quad for my son on his 7th birthday since my love of anything with wheels is ingrained in him as well. According to dealers and the owners manual the quad is too big for him, however after a few training sessions it is clear he is going to run the wheels off this thing.
Being in Arizona and in an area where construction is booming dirt is not hard to find. Here is his third time out on the quad in what will eventualy be a neighborhood park.
My son getting his gear out
As the dad I have to "ensure the quad is running right" and lay a few tracks for him to follow.
Giving him on track instructions
Going through the S's
After a dozen laps or so he stops and tells me and his grandfather, "This is too easy dad! Time to make a new track".
So like a good dad, I up the anti.
Smashing down a dirt pile.
Providing on the bike training
And send him on his own.
He is a natural but I finally tired him out.

Brings back some good memories of my first dirtbike and my dad chasing behind. That's a neat little quad as well, I'm sure you really "hated" having to get him a slightly bigger one that you could demonstrate with, eh?
(Now get the boy some boots - never too young for ATGATT!)

Thanks! He has the shirts and the pants to go with everything else just not the boots. He is growing like a weed right now so the boots would be too small in no time. I'll get him some little Catepillars or Red Wing type work boots and they will work just fine.
Actually the size of the quad was by chance. My cousin works at the parts wharehouse and called me saying they needed to unload some that came into the wharehouse. They were still brand new in the crates and a deal I couldn't pass up.
