Looking to buy a highly durable Canon cord that will allow me to use the IR emitters on the flash, but mainly to be able to use the cord a lot and not worry about it breaking (at the ends).

Which ones do you guys prefer? Do Nikon units work as well as the Canon ones? I dont mind not having TTL support because I'm used to using manual mode on my flash unit, as long as the cord is very durable, thats all that matters to me. I've been through several generic off camera hotshoe adapters and cords and mainly the cords break first before the adapters do. and also..sometimes the hotshoe adapters tend to 'not link up' and causes me to miss a shot once in a while, so im trying to remedy that.

Any suggestions? How is the Promaster version diff. from the Canon one?
