A friend invited me to a private group on Flickr... while wandering around there I saw someone playing with "Flicker Toys" so of course I had to check it out.

I played with the calendar maker and decided I really liked the CD Jewel Case calendar size the best.

Of course, being a designer chick, I had to fix a few things -- like line up the months to be flush right with the dates... and I let the calendar maker do all my months (being lazy) but I then put all the months into Photoshop where I proceeded to go thru my photos, optimize them for the new size and basically use photoshop to make the calendar pages.

And here is the link to "Flickr Toys": You do not necessarily need to be a member of Flickr. Photos can be uploaded from your desktop -- or anywhere on the web, like your smugmug galleries.

It took me practically all day to set them up, but that was because I was searching thru all my DVDs for just the "right" photos, then I had to post process them, etc.

I have lots of empty CD cases and I finally figured out what you're supposed to do to get them to work to hold the calendars... Now I have to figure out how to write a "to do" sheet for my calendar recipients...
