Though I'd put my new 10-22 through the paces and see what I could see. This is the same gentleman that was in my "stillness" challenge entry and again he's hanging out at Union Station just around the corner from where the other photo was taken. I'm VERY impressed with this lens though you do need to get right up and on the subject for a shot like this. Check the EXIF this was handheld at 1/25s in 40 degrees F weather. :D

I'm really digging the first one, for some reason his shoe just leads me to his face and I really like his expression. Nice b/w conversion as well.

Why not up the ISO a tad so you don't have to handhold at 1/25 (which is impressive by the way)

I was really just our flexing the muscles of the new lens. I wanted to push it at it's limits to see what it did. Otherwise I would have been ISO 400 ish.

Nice shots, Chad. I like the first one with the shoe pointed towards your camera. Don't ya love the way the buildings lean on the edges of the frame? !!!? I find I really have to "pay attention" to what's in the background (near the edges) to use this lens. It's fun and you always get some surprises!!! :D

I like this one too. thumb.gif But if you're going to brag about hand holding at 1/25 in 40 degree weather, let see a 100% crop, so we can see just how good you did! :D
