I got in the tub this evening for a shower and almost stepped on this critter. Yuck! I had to snap a few quick macros with my new Fuji F30 of course :) That's one of the things I've always liked about P&S cameras...easy macros!

Fuji F30, auto white balance, flash, macro mode, Auto ISO 400 in use - hit ISO 200 each time, f8

Your wife used her Point & Shoot also when you was running in great exitement and fear looking for your P&S? :D

The captures came out very nice.

    Thanks for sharing.

    Thanks everyone :)

We live in a semi-rural area (changing fast though) and I'm always finding spiders and things in the house...just not in my bath tub :( They sure look better from a distance. Not nearly as attractive as say a horse close-up :)

Funny how a flash will cover up dirt :) It doesn't look at good in person.

Though my first thought might not have been "Let me get my camera!" if I'd been you, these are great! I never would have thought flash could clean a tub that well. Thanks for the tip! :D

We have those all over here. I think it is a Wolf spider. Hairy and creepy looking. Not to mention fast!

How about this spider that I found in my garage!:cry

rolleyes1.gifI was thinking the same thing. I would have been much more likely to scream like a little girl and smack it with the first thing I could find!

    Very cool shots!thumb.gif
