    Your link's broken.

I worked around it, saw the image. It's really nice! I'd pull back on the yellow under her chin.

    Yeah!

It's amazing what changing the background you're working on does.. when I post it here, the yellows really pop out, however in Photoshop's duller gray background, it isn't as noticeable.

This whole story was shot in my dorm room.. creative use of space & light!

    Thanks for the feedback!

She's extremely yellow on my screen, almost thought it was intentional at first. The eyes are great!!!! The parted mouth I'm not too crazy about, you can barely see her teeth and I think it would be better if her mouth were closed.

Yellow doesn't bother me in stylised photography. The spooky eyes are great but I concur with the previous poster: the open lips do take away from this otherwise great shot.

nice image, but i've seen better from you. i usually like the parted lips, but something about the shadow in her mouth doesn't seem right. the eyes look a little too sharp to me, or maybe it's the large catchlight that i don't like. i don't mind the yellow at all, i think it's a nice effect.

as usual, i would love to see more of this set.

I like it, the pose, the treatment, the crop - very nice. thumb.gif

I must say it looks kind of funny juxtaposed with your avatar though -very similar pose and expression :D

    beautiful lady-

    love the photo-

to me, the look, the eyes, the lighting; perfect-

I wonder about the yellow, but if it's meant, then chalk up to taste-

    love your work, owen-

Really good work. I dont notice any yellow, non that disturbs me anyway. Her forhead appears a little flat to me though, maybe cause it has very little shadows. If there's more of the picture I think it might help if you let some of her hairline into the crop.

The reflection in her eyes bothers me....a ring flash would have been nice to have.

A ringflash would have been very flat and unflattering.

Lighting is dramatic, and your model is lovely. I am so drawn to her eyes. I wish I can shoot her too.

    Owen,
I like the last picture very much and only now - looking at 4 pictures - I could realize that they were rather yellow.
The position of her hand is much more interesting that in the other shot.
Is she a professional model ?
Once I shot a girl of my daughter's work, when it came a professional model - only one - it was much easier...:D

I'm totally digging the yellow tint of the photo, it goes with her hair, skin and background and even her clothing in some of the photos. All of them are astounding. Nice job.

I think this one would benefit from b&w. With this coloring & no lipstick she looks like she's sick. I think b&w would really make her eyes pop as well. Just an idea!

In a beauty story, it is all about the products you use to create a certain look. I agree with you that B&W would look great with all of these pictures, however the whole idea is also about the coloration.
