    Heheh.

Sorry to say, I dunno. I never have to network with PCs, but I know that Andy, Mike Lane, bigwebguy, they all know the answer to this one...

    I will say this:

It should just work. You will probably have to turn on file sharing in your system preferences, since OSX comes locked down. But once you do that it SHOULD be fine.

Go to System Preferences, in the Internet & Network menu select Sharing and enable File Sharing and Windows Sharing. Also enable your account for Windows sharing. The screen will show the address you'll have to use in your Windows machine to see your Mac (\\[IP address of Mac\[User Name on Mac]). It's very easy from there, just use the right username/password of the enabled Mac account, and you can fully browse the Mac from your Windows box.
enjoy being here while getting there

good luck. I've tried many times, always failed. It's never been an issue to get online via any network with my Mac, but getting at shared resources has never worked (shared folders, hard drives, printers, etc). Problem is, if there's an expert around, they're always an expert in one or the other so the answer ends up being "you're so stupid, can't you just get a [blank]?!".

if there is a way, I'm all ear.gifs

    hmm
I will give it a try. I can't get it to connect to my wifi at all. I put it on airport and even down my wep to no security.

Are you using the Airport Utility or the Airport Setup Assistant? I suggest the latter first. It's worked for me when the other doesn't, since it doesn't allow me to make stupid, ignorant mistakes. There are times that I've used the Utility and been successful, but I'd start with the assistant.
