I tried this typa abstract last year without a macro lens came out so so.
Well this year I have a quality macro lens and the results speak for themself!
Was windy as all ___ today so I brought em in on the enclosed back porch and taped em to the window.
Sometimes in this biz ya gotta cheat! :thumb

I see on page 58 of the November issue of Outdoor Photographer William Neill "Always Take The Next Step" has a writeup on this.

Honest opinions please!

Great macros, I like them both, but what about a little smart sharpen? maybe it would help to heighten the leaf's veins, or whatever they are called. :D

These are cool. I also think they look like a map. One of those satellite images actually of crop fields. Nice job.

    Thanx everyone!
Yeah it's a strange artistic way of looking at a leaf. thumb.gif
The bottom one I'm gonna try a diff angle and take the brightness down a tad.
I took em both in RAW so I have a plentora of ways I can Photoshop em.
Top one might lokk a lil more impressive if I boost the green a lil?

Really neat, Graphy! I especially like the first one...the colors in that are my favorites! Very much a "saleable" print, I think! thumb.gif
