PLEASE help - mpix greeting cards?

I need to go ahead and get prepared for the holiday season, and I want to know from y'all's experience if mpix cards are really high quality.

are they glossy and look really professional? that's the look I'm going for. I don't want it to look like I printed on my printer on regular white card stock...
