Yesterday I got the chance to shoot the UT vs Alabama football game from the field. I really wish I had gotten some better shots, but I guess there's always next time!

This one I know is OOF and really not all that good, but I thought I should put it in because it's was allowed UT to win the game! Even though my picture didn't come out all that great, the guy I was shooting with got an awsome shot of the same play!

thanks for the thread. I watched some of this game on tv. must have been awesome to be on the sidelines. some tough early light with players in shade & bright background.

Yeah, that lighting was brutal for the first half, not to mention I forgot to change my ISO from 1600 (did a night soccer game the day before). So all the shots from the frist 5 mins were totally blown out!

The Daily Beacon. Read it plenty of times.

I came to Knoxville last weekend. I saw the soccer stadium. It looks very nice.

Its always good to hear "Rocky Top", and see Bama lose. I was a grad student during the Heath Shuler/Peyton Manning years. But never go to watch from the field. That would be unbelievably cool!!

Yeah, the soccer stadium is pretty nice, except that they decided to put it right by the waste water treatment plant so the smell is a little gross. They do charge way too much for a hotdog (3 bucks!!!). The lighting there was pretty bad too, I was shooting at 2.8 and 1600 ISO and still barely getting 1/150.
