Contrast in Textures

I hope it's ok to cross post (have had some discussion on this photo and others in the Technique section), but I wanted to share this image that I took at the funeral procession of a slain Manchester, NH Police Officer over this weekend. Of all the shots I took, I think this really spoke volumes to me.

    Rather than a picture telling 1,000 words
    This photo tells the entire story. Excellent! With the rose the main subject and only it is in focus simply say's it all. Wow.

    Just picked up the paper that I shot the pictures for and they 14 of my images in the special section and other spots in the paper. A variation of the above shot was used on the cover. I'll post a link to a pdf version of the paper as soon as they post it today.
