A first for me....

I was at one of my favorite parks with some customers, taking some fall portraits, when I was walking past one of the many ponds I come across this guy. I have only seen maybe 3 of these guys in this area, but this was the first time I had my camera with me to get a few shots. I was with customers so I did not want to spend to much of their paid time (in the cold at that) shooting birds. So I got what I could and had to keep moving on. He was all the way across the pond so this is at 300mm and cropped. Best I could do with the circumstances.

Congrats with this -more than reasonable- and first GBH capture. thumb.gif

Well, the moment was not there to do what you wanted to do but the GBH surely wait for you another day :D

    Thanks for sharing.

How many photographers does it take to change a light bulb? 50. One to change the bulb, and forty-nine to say, "I could have done that better!"

Thanks guys, I was glad to see him and I was more than glad to shoot him. I hope he liked his visit and makes it to my park more often. Like I said not many of Harry's big birds around here.
