Nice composition. The wheel arch might be better cropped out though. That fountain looks familiar. Bummer about the shadow across her face, nice work ona tricky exposure.

Antoine, you are one of my harshest critics here (appreciated) so I was pleasantly surprised by the comment. Thank you. This is a Mazda concept car and the girl.. She was very professional and stunning.

Too bad you hadn't an assistant to put a reflector on the right side of the photo.

[FONT=Geneva, Verdana, Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif]This was not my set as such, just an open air promotion. The place where I took the image is a double sided sort - it has lots of events and interesting people passing through but it is a nightmare to deal with light there. It's either way too dark or the contrast between dark and light is way too high for any camera.

To my excuse their pro with AN ASSISTANT AND A REFLECTOR did not manage much better than I, blowing both the highlights on her hand and the car. You can view that here: http://carsguide.news.com.au/aims/

I think you'd get a lot of volunteers if "grip" turned out to have something to do with the steering wheel or the blonde.

Yes, we are planning little holiday around that time. Not sure on the exact route but I think we will start with Paris.

Antoine, I'll be dragging not only my camera but also wife and kids so you may not want to hear about it. On another hand it would be fantastic to get a friendly person to give us some hints as what to see and when.

If you're planning to see the South, I can even get you in touch with some friendly people in Cassis… the guy is a photographer (much more into landscape), too. With wife and kid He's renting some cheap yet cool guest house.

And, about Paris & somewhere else: of course I can give some hints
